Bench Chisel with Octagonal Handle in White Beech – Kirschen
Descripción
A short, lightweight woodworking chisel, manufactured according to DIN 5139 standards, equipped with a side bevel that allows for precise work in tight joints and corners.
The blade is hand-forged from special high-carbon tool steel , following traditional Kirschen methods. With an approximate hardness of ±61 HRC along the blade's working area , it exceeds DIN standard requirements and provides high wear resistance.
The blade surface is polished without grooves , allowing for a clean and precise cut in wood. The chisels are supplied with a factory sharpening angle of 25° , suitable for soft to medium-hardwood.
The handle is made of white beech wood (Weißbuche) with an octagonal cross-section and impact head , allowing for controlled use with a wooden mallet. The octagonal shape improves tool control and prevents it from rolling on the workbench.
It is recommended to sharpen the blade on a whetstone before first use for optimal performance.
Made in Germany.
