Kirschen Dovetail Chisel Set (6 Pieces)

A set of chisels specifically designed for making dovetail joints and other joinery connections . The set includes five chisels of varying widths and a marking knife, allowing for very precise preparation and adjustment of the joints.

The chisels have a shorter shape , providing better control of the tool during work. The side faces of the blade are tapered to zero , allowing you to work in tight spaces such as the corners of dovetails.

The blades are made of high-carbon tool steel , hardened and tempered, with an approximate hardness of 61 HRC . The back surface is polished and flat , ensuring precise contact with the wood. The blades are supplied sharpened and oiled , ready for use.

The handles are made of beech wood (Rotbuche) and the set is supplied in a hornbeam wood case for safe storage.

The marking knife included in the set allows for highly precise marking of cutting lines in wood , being particularly useful for making traditional joinery. The prismatic blade can be used by both right- and left-handed users .
