Sharpening Guide for Chisels and Planes – Faithfull (Sharpening Guide)

Sharpening guide designed to maintain the correct angle during the sharpening of chisels and planes. It is used in conjunction with oil, water, or diamond sharpening stones, helping to maintain greater precision in restoring the cutting edge.

Compatible with straight-edge chisels, bevel chisels, and planer irons with widths between 3 mm and 67 mm.

The clamping system allows the blade to be positioned in different ways to achieve specific sharpening angles.

For chisels, using the inner jaws:

• Blade projection of 30 mm to obtain a 30-degree angle.
• Blade projection of 40 mm to obtain a 25-degree angle.

For planer irons, using the external jaws:

• Blade projection of 38 mm to obtain a 30-degree angle.
• Blade projection of 50 mm to obtain a 25-degree angle.

This guide helps maintain a consistent angle throughout the sharpening process, facilitating the achievement of a uniform and precise cutting edge. It is suitable for use in woodworking, carpentry, or carving workshops.
