Bench Rebate Plane No. 10 – Faithfull

A traditional design benchtop rebate planer, suitable for cleaning and finishing wide rebates, joint shoulders and large joints , and also appropriate for general benchtop woodworking where a full-width planer is required.

The tool can be used on both hardwoods and softwoods , allowing for clean and well-defined surfaces in joints and recesses.

The body is made of high-quality gray cast iron , providing robustness and stability during operation. The base and side faces are precision ground , ensuring flatness and squareness. The machined blade seat reduces vibrations and prevents iron oscillations during cutting.

The blade is secured by a lever cap with a brass tightening screw , allowing for quick removal for sharpening. The plane includes a wooden handle and front button , offering comfort and control during use. All components are precision machined , ensuring exact adjustments and smooth operation.

Note: The blade needs initial sharpening before first use .
