Kirschen Curved Scraper with Two Handles (Barrel Scraper)
Description
A hand tool used for controlled wood removal and excavation work , especially on curved surfaces or in cavities. It is suitable for various applications in traditional carpentry and joinery.
The scraper is used by pulling the blade towards the user , allowing you to precisely control the amount of material removed. If the blade gets stuck in the wood, the tool should be removed by pulling back along the cut .
The blade has an approximate thickness of 4 to 4.5 mm at the base of the bevel , ensuring robustness during work. The factory sharpening angle is 25° , suitable for soft to medium wood. For harder woods or more demanding work, the angle can be adjusted up to approximately 35° .
The tool is equipped with two wooden handles , allowing you to work with both hands and apply controlled force. This configuration is particularly effective for excavation and woodworking .
