Description
A stiff-backed saw designed for joinery work , especially for cutting tenons, mortise and tenon shoulders, and other precision cuts .
Made in Sheffield, England , this saw features a carbon steel blade with a mirror-polished finish and a rigid, bent solid brass back , providing stability and precision during cutting.
The handle is made of high-quality steamed beechwood with a glossy two-tone finish, secured with solid brass screws and a decorative medallion . The handle also includes a gold leaf detail , characteristic of PAX saws.
Each saw is sharpened manually using traditional methods , guaranteeing excellent cutting ability from the first use. The blade can be resharpened throughout its lifespan with a suitable file.
Supplied in a recyclable branded box .
