Description

A stiff-backed saw designed for joinery work , especially for cutting tenons, mortise and tenon shoulders, and other precision cuts .

This model belongs to the Lynx line, manufactured in Sheffield, England , by the historic brand E. Garlick & Son , founded in 1858.

The blade is made of alloy spring steel and has a rigid, folded brass back with a mirror-polished finish , providing stability and precision during cutting.

The handle is made of American black walnut and finished with Danish oil , offering excellent ergonomics and tool control. The handle is secured with traditional solid brass split nut screws , featuring a decorative medallion.

Each saw blade is sharpened manually , ensuring high cutting performance. As with traditional Sheffield saws, the blade can be resharpened throughout its lifespan using a suitable file.

Supplied in a branded, recyclable cardboard box .
